TAKS tests Oct. 21st - 24th. Monday - ELA, Tuesday - Math, Wednesday - Science, and Thursday - Social Studies. Please report by 7:25. Do not bring cell phone/electronics testing days. Do bring a sack lunch each day of testing. Testing will take place in Rooms 634, 635 and 636
•Breakfast is served: Chick Fil A (chicken biscuits and chicken minis) will be sold same time, same place as last year ($3.00 per item).

Knights…Washington University in St. Louis, a university that is comparable to Rice University, is visiting Elkins during 5th period in the College & Career Resource Center on Friday, Oct. 18th. Seniors…The first College Application Workshop for this semester will take place, Thursday, October 24th at 2:30pm to 4pm in the College & Career Resource Center. Please see Ms. Carter-McClain for details.
The College & Career Center has new Walk-in hours of operation. Every Tuesday-Thursday Mrs. McClain will be available to students and parents to meet with concerning college and scholarship applications, as well as military and career opportunities. Furthermore, during lunch as well as students off periods all are welcomed to come and discuss your future.
