Elkins High School’s new head football coach is about as familiar as it gets.
Dennis Brantley, the Knights’ offensive coordinator for the last three years, has been on the job for a few weeks. He has retained most of the last year’s assistant coaches, which means the transition should be a breeze.
Brantley said not much will change within the program. The Knights still will operate out of a spread offense, and they’ll be aggressive on defense. That’s the approach that has led to playoff appearances each of the last two seasons....READ MORE
