Learn, ask questions and get answers about 1)How to fill out FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Forms, 2) How scholarship applications are evaluated, and 3) How to access scholarships for high school graduating seniors and those currently pursuing a college degree. This event will be held on January 23, 2014 in Room 103 (Susan Ryon Davis Multipurpose Room) of Brazos Hall, University of Houston Sugar Land, 14004 University Blvd. Sugar Land, TX 77479. Registration is at 6:00 p.m. with presentations from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Registration for the event is not required, but seating is limited.
The George Foundation is currently accepting applications for scholarships from high school seniors12/8/2013
The George Foundation has established a financial need based scholarship program to assist graduating public high school seniors within Fort Bend County who plan to enroll for the first time at a public two- or four-year college or university in Texas. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time undergraduate study at an accredited public Texas institution of the student's choice. The deadline to submit is March 15, 2014.
