SENIOR STUDENTS who are interested in receiving The Walter Kase Student Pledge of Respect Book Scholarship should see Ms. Bickerstaff in room #121. Each student who is interested will be asked to come to the Library on May 2nd to write an essay. •You must register with Ms. Bickerstaff to participate in the essay contest. In addition, Americans are now advised that their usual methods for disposing of unused medicines—flushing them down the toilet or throwing them in the trash—both pose potential safety and health hazards.

It's tough landing a job in today's economy, especially for teens who might be competing with adults for the same position. That is why Missouri City Library will be hosting a job search/resume writing workshop designed specifically for teens to help them gain a competitive edge and land a job.
