· No deliveries from the front office to students.
· No backpacks or purses will be allowed into ANY classrooms in the mornings of testing week.
· Do not schedule doctor or other appointments during testing hours.
· No cell phones, IPODS, CD players, electronic or telecommunication devices are allowed. These items CANNOT be in your possession. It makes no difference if the phone or device is on or off – if it is in your possession on testing day, your test score will be cancelled, and the phone will be confiscated. You will be required to pay a $15.00 fine, and your parent must retrieve your phone.
· Consider bringing a sweatshirt or sweater. No blankets or pillows will be allowed.
· Bring a sack lunch and drink.
· Bring a school appropriate novel for reading after the test. Magazines, catalogs, textbooks, etc. will not be permitted and will be confiscated.
· No mechanical pencils can be used for testing.
· The testing day will end at 4:30. No student will be permitted to test past 4:30.
Fort Bend ISD Cell Phone Policy (FNCE-R) On State Testing Days
During any state testing administration, if a student is found with a telecommunications device (i.e. cell phone, PDA, pager, etc.) on their person at the time of testing, the device will be immediately confiscated. The student’s answer sheet/test will be marked “Other.” The student will not receive credit for the test being taken and will not receive a test score.
All telecommunications devices (such as cell phones, pagers, PDA’s) should be either in your locker or at the front of the testing room (turned off and out of sight). If you are found with one at any time you are in the testing room (while you are actively testing or have turned in your test and are waiting to be dismissed from the testing room), it will be immediately confiscated. Your test will be marked “Other,” which means that it will not be scored and you will miss the opportunity to take and pass this TAKS test.
If your device is confiscated, it will be turned over to the appropriate administrator and there will be a $15.00 fee to get it back.
Unique consequence, even if first overall offense: Device confiscated by campus administrator and turned over to the appropriate administrator. Students/Parents will be required to pay the $15.00 administrative fee for its return.
