....Elkins grad Blake Slaughter (Kansas State) will play in the Pinstripe Bowl against Syracuse on Dec. 30 in New York. Slaughter has 47 tackles, including two sacks.
Kempner grad Chris Banjo (SMU) will play in the Armed Forces Bowl against Army on Dec. 30 in Fort Worth. Banjo has 83 tackles (4.5 TFL), two interceptions, six pass break-ups and eight passes defended. Hightower grad Darius Johnson (SMU) has 69 receptions for 693 yards and five touchdowns.
Hightower grad Theo Goins (Central Florida) will play in the Liberty Bowl against Georgia on Dec. 31 in Memphis, Tenn. Goins has played in 12 games at left guard and has started the last seven.
Marshall grad Tyrone Sonier (Texas Tech) will play in the Ticket City Bowl against Northwestern on Jan. 1 in Dallas. Sonier has 22 tackles, including one sack, and one forced fumble.
Dulles grad Darryl Stonum (Michigan) will play in the Gator Bowl against Mississippi State on Jan. 1 in Jacksonville, Fla. Stonum has 42 receptions for 574 yards and four touchdowns.
Marshall grad Jeremy Coleman (TCU) will play in the Rose Bowl against Wisconsin on Jan. 1 in Pasadena, Calif. Coleman has six tackles in eight games. Dulles grad Mike Rosner (TCU) has played in three games, including a start at left guard in the regular season finale.
Marshall grad Knile Davis (Arkansas) will play in the Sugar Bowl against Ohio State on Jan. 4 in New Orleans, La. Davis has rushed for 1,183 yards (6.6 yards per carry) and has scored 14 touchdowns.
Elkins grad Nick Harwell (Miami University) will play in the Godaddy.com Bowl against Middle Tennessee State on Jan. 6 in Mobile, Ala. Harwell has 52 receptions for 719 yards and five touchdowns.
