Elkins' Jonathan Giles grew up around football. His father, Lonzo Giles, played at Yoakum and the University of Houston in the 1970s, and Jonathon's been putting on pads since he was 10 years old.
So earning the title of starting quarterback on the varsity team is a dream come true. But his dream quickly turned into a nightmare when the Knights' promising season began with back-to-back losses.
