Clements High School athletes excelled in the pool and on the pitch this season to help their school extend its lead in the second Fort Bend ISD All-Sports Cup.
Schools earn points based on their teams’ performances during district play and in the postseason. The Sun keeps the scoring system a secret except for a few details. The most points a team can earn in any season is 30. That would occur if it wins outright district, regional and state championships.

It is a creation of the Fort Bend Sun and the Sugar Land Sun newspapers. The competition is divided into three sessions – fall, winter and spring. Clements won all three sessions en route to the overall title during the 2009-10 school year. It has won the first two sessions this year.
