The district season began for baseball teams in Fort Bend ISD Tuesday night. Here is a look at how all the games turned out.
ELKINS 10, AUSTIN 8 (10 inn.)
if(typeof oTNCMS_Ad.setRelative == 'function'){ oTNCMS_Ad.setRelative(); } oTNCMS_Ad.show(); T.J. Woodskow hit two home runs for Elkins. His second was a solo shot that provided the winning run in the top of the 10th inning. Kameron Klott also hit a home run for Elkins. Freshman Tristan Gray went 3-for-4 with two doubles, and Jake James earned the win in relief. Anthony DeJesus took the loss. Austin scored two runs in the home half of the seventh to force extra innings tied at 6. Both teams scored two runs in the eighth inning.
