Want to see where your favorite basketball team stacks up with the rest of Fort Bend ISD? Check out this week's Sun power rankings. 1. Travis (6-1): All six of the Tigers’ wins have been by at least 11 points. They are coming off a championship at the Jack Frost Tournament in Georgetown. Travis beat No. 9 San Antonio Churchill in the semifinals. The Class 5A No. 3 Tigers’ only loss is to Class 4A No. 2 La Marque.
2. Elkins (3-1): The Knights already might be better than they were in the second half of last season. They’re deep, athletic and talented. Their only loss is to La Marque. Wins over No. 10 Kingwood and Alief Elsik stand out. Elkins not being included in this week’s state coaches top 25 means somebody – perhaps a lot of people – are not paying attention....READ MORE
