However, WATCH Week activities are planned throughout FBISD schools during the week of March 7-11. Now in its 11th year, WATCH (Weight, Activity, Tobacco, Cholesterol and Hypertension) is a heart health awareness program that highlights the five major risk factors contributing to heart attack and stroke. The program also promotes choices for healthy lifestyles and reducing obesity.
During WATCH week, students will take part in presentations and discussions on healthy choices, sign pledges, and enjoy heart healthy meals provided by FBISD’s Child Nutrition Department throughout the week.
