Not every boy wants to tumble and toss;
Not every girl wants a dress.
Sometimes it’s totally mixed all around
And some people think it’s a mess!
Some boys insist they were girls since their birth;
Some girls are boys through and through.
Some say they’re neither or both
— What’s with that?! --
What is a parent to do!
These children have atypical gender expression or interests. Parents and grandparents who love them may question what to do.
Saturday, June 4, 2011 is a special day for these children, their brothers and sisters, and the parents and relatives who love them.
Join other parents and families for a day of sharing and learning. You provide questions and stories in a safe confidential setting. We provide a safe supervised play space, activities for children from toddlers to teens, and time for parents to share with one another and with experts in development, medicine, and education.
We’ll also provide breakfast and lunch for everyone.
Families may register at no cost.
Please register by Monday, May 16, 2011.
