AP Registration opens March 3rd and closes March 11th using the same online registration process used last year. AP Exams will be $57 each with a reduction for students on free and reduced lunch. Begin thinking now about the AP exams you wish to take this spring. Information booklets will be distributed through the AP classes.

The FBISD Technical Education Center is NOW accepting applications for the 2011-2012 school year. Students who wish to be in a program at the Technical Education Center (TEC) must apply. There are several ways that a students can get an application:
Clicking on --> TEC website, which will take you directly to an online application; Getting a paper application from a home campus counselor. The online application will come directly to the TEC, when "submit" is clicked; the paper application can be mailed to the TEC, or returned to their counselor, who will in turn send the application to the TEC. The program instructor at the TEC will review the applicants' information for acceptance into a program. The interview is an important part of the acceptance process and can be done either during the School Tours, March 7 - March 11, 2011, or at Open House, March 10, 2011, from 5 pm - 7 pm. Even though the courses are not on the online registration, you can write them on your course selection sheet to be turned in. If you do not apply to the Tech Ed Center, you will not be considered for the program. Please see Ms. Nasseri in the GO Center this week if you are interested in the FBISD Tech Ed Center. Fort Bend ISD offers SAT Prep Classes at Quail Valley Middle School for a fee of $50.00 on the following dates:
March 5, 8, & 10 for the March 12 SAT April 23, 26, & 28 for the May 7 SAT May 21, 24, & 26 for the June 4 SAT If interested, pick up and complete a registration form from the Counselors' Office. Wednesday-February 16th-Students received their transcripts in Advisory Monday-February 21st-Students will receive graduation requirements, a course selection sheet (see course selection sheet .pdf below), and a credit checklist in their Social Studies classes. If you are in the top 10% of the Jr. or Sr. Class, please stop by the GO Center during lunch to sign an important document about college admission.

Colleges represented will be UT @ Dallas, U of H, Sam Houston State University, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M @ Kingsville, Texas A& M University @ Corpus Christi, Texas Tech, Alabama, HCC, Concordia, Lamar, Texas A&M, U of H Downtown; LSU, TSU, UT @ Tyler. This is an excellent opportunity to discuss course offerings, admission and financial aid requirements, college life in general, and other information pertinent to the college selection process.
